Demi Moore is standing by her three daughters, and opening up about this currently challenging time for their family.

During her appearance on Good Morning America this week, the Ghost alum, 61, shared a heartfelt update on her ex husband, Bruce Willis, who is currently battling frontotemporal dementia.

"I think given the givens, he’s doing very well," Moore said, regarding the Die Hard actor, 68. "What I’ll share is what I say to my children, which is, it’s important to just meet them where they’re at and not hold on to what isn’t, but what is," she went on. "Because there’s great beauty and sweetness and loving and joy out of that."

The Feud: Capote vs. The Swans actress and Pulp Fiction star were married from 1987 to 2000 and share three children: Tallulah, 29, Scout, 32, and Rumer, 35. Moore shared that she provides her children with these words of comfort to assist them in managing their father's situation.
