The unsettling, soul-searching year that is 2020 continues to serve up some pretty dramatic celebrity hair transformations.
In the last week alone Kyle Jenner and Kate Middleton went blonder than ever, Dakota Johnson of 50 Shades of Grey Fame got a new inky-black 'do, and Jennifer Lopez unveiled yet another incredible shag hairstyle. It also feels like buzzcut season crept in without us noticing, with both Ruby Rose and Halsey shaving off their hair and dyeing it a stunning marbled design.
There really is no stopping the A-Listers right now.
Singer Demi Lovato also had a pretty experimental week. She hosted the People's Choice Awards on Sunday, stepping out onto the stage with platinum-blonde hair rather than her usual jet-black. And the hair switch-ups didn't end there, oh no...
Demi just took to Instagram to show followers the back of her new platinum pixie crop and shaved undercut. "I did a thing," she captioned the post, running her fingers through her strands to reveal the skin-glimpsing buzzcut underneath.
She followed up with more pictures of the front, thanking stylist Amber Maynard Bolt for the colour and cut. Amber also posted some images on her Instagram, alongside the caption: "There is something about changing your hair so drastically that allows you to own yourself in a way you never thought!"
Demi's celebrity pals couldn't get enough of her edgy new look. Ruby Rose commented: "Yes boo yes." Kerry Washington simply said: "Gorge."
