Demi Lovato has worked to destigmatize many "taboo" topics over the years through transparency surrounding her struggles with addiction and mental health, as well as her journey with her sexuality. So, why would their beauty routine be any different? The singer recently teamed up with Xeomin, an injectable treatment used to treat wrinkles and fine lines, to normalize the use of cosmetic injections.

"I’ve always believed in making choices that are empowering, [keep you] true to yourself and help you look and feel your best," they said in an interview with People.  "I’ve incorporated Xeomin into my routine every three months, and it gives me the results I want while still looking like myself."

Her decision to partner with the injectable company stemmed from the desire to be open and honest with her fans about her own beauty routine. "I’m always transparent with my fans, and this is something I wanted to share. It normalizes it and takes the taboo away from injectables," they said, "It’s all about what makes you feel like your best self. Don’t listen to naysayers. Do what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin."

Lovato, who recently got engaged to musician Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, has been feeling confident as of late, and establishing a set regimen has contributed to that. "There are times I like to get glam and times when I don’t like to wear makeup at all, and [Xeomin] gives me the confidence for both."

Although Lovato didn't spill any tea on the specific details of her upcoming nuptials to Lutes (like date and venue), the star did reveal the vision she has for her hair on her special day. "I’ve also been growing my hair out," she said. "I don’t know what it will look like for the wedding, but hopefully, it’s longer and still the same color."

Last month, she did confirm that they are in the process of planning, and like many other brides, Lovato has been using Pinterest for inspiration, the outlet previously reported.
