Demi Lovato Knows All About the “Pile of Clothes”

Ahhhh... the infamous "pile of clothes." You know what we're talking about: You do your best to straighten up your bedroom and keep things tidy, but sometimes you're just too tired to fold jeans, hang up dresses, and put things back where they belong. Whether you're changing into comfy clothes or pajamas for the evening or just can't decide what to wear, these cast-off garments slowly begin to morph into an ever-increasing mound that takes up residence on your bed, floor, or even a special chair or bench dedicated solely to holding clothes. The "pile of clothes" is a real thing, and Demi Lovato is very familiar with it too.

On May 19, the musician, who's been hanging out at home and keeping fans updated on her life via Instagram, posted some relatable pics of herself sitting atop her own pile of clothes writing, "This is what my bed looks like every time I get dressed. Anyone else??"

Demi posed for the pic in a cropped long-sleeved black top with embellished sleeves, high-waisted light-wash jeans, red sunglasses, and silver jewelry. From what we can see in her snapshot, her pile includes something tiger-striped (maybe she watched Tiger King and got inspired!), a khaki blazer, and something fire-engine red. Wouldn't you love to raid Demi's closet? Judging from the contents of her clothes pile, it looks like a lot of fun.

Clothes envy aside, we can all relate to Demi's struggle. Even with the best of intentions, that pesky pile of clothes always seems to get the better of us. Perhaps she was playing dress-up to find the perfect Insta 'fit — she did recently share an at-home swimsuit shoot, posing in a chic strapless burgundy one-piece suit. Either way, we've been there, and this pic is a reminder to go put our own pile of clothes back where it belongs: In the closet!
