Demi Lovato has parted ways with their actor beau.

The "I Love Me" singer was quietly dating (and quarantining with) The Young and the Restless star Max Ehrich. The two were first reported to be dating back in March and have since appeared together on each other's social media channels. Their union was officially confirmed in May when the two made a joint appearance in Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's "Stuck with U" music video, in which the two danced together and shared a kiss for the camera.

Lovato later shared a post dedicated to their new beau. "Happy to be a part of something so special right now. Like really REALLY happy if you can't tell," they wrote on Instagram.

But since then, their flame has fizzled out. We've rounded up everything you need to know about Ehrich below.

He and Demi are no longer engaged.

Months after getting down on one knee, Ehrich and Lovato decided to part ways.

"It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers," a source told People. "They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together."

Max claims he heard about the breakup from a tabloid report.

Despite the seemingly joint statement that announced their split, Ehrich took to his Instagram Stories and suggested he didn't know about the split until he read about it.

"Imagine finding out to [sic] the status of your relationship through a tabloid," he wrote.

Ehrich continued, "While your [sic] in the middle of filming a biopic movie about a Pastor in a Christian Church whose intention of the film is to help people." He signed off simply with the words, "God bless."

However, Lovato has since refuted Ehrich's claims. A source told People, "Demi made Max aware that the relationship was over and it was going to come out in the press."

The actor had proposed to Lovato on July 22 in Malibu, reported People. Both Lovato and Ehrich took to Instagram to share the sweet announcement and how excited they both are for their new future together.

"Words cannot express how infinitely in love with you I am forever and always and then some. I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife. here's to forever baby 💍," wrote Ehrich alongside photos of the couple's beachside engagement at the time.

Max is a soap star.

Like Lovato, Ehrich has spent a fair amount of his life on the television screen. He's most known for his Daytime Emmy-nominated role as Fenmore Baldwin in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, but also starred in the 2019 Netflix movie Walk. Ride. Rodeo. and the Lifetime series American Princess.

Ehrich also had a few starring moments on the Disney Channel, appearing in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, as well as a few episodes of Shake It Up, which starred Zendaya and Bella Thorne.

He also sings.

Ehrich has shown off his vocals on Instagram time and again, and often posts videos of himself performing. The actor previously shared a rendition of Coldplay's "Yellow" with the caption, "4D," followed by a rose emoji and a heart. Fans were quick to comment that his caption may translate to "For Demi."

He enjoys posting a casual shirtless thirst trap now and again.

Max and Demi began dating in early March.

"Max is very into music and health, and he doesn't like to party. He is a good influence on Demi, and they have a lot in common," a source told E! News. "It's very new but they are definitely hanging out and seeing where it leads."

Another source, per Us Weekly, declared how well the new relationship was going—so well that fans shouldn't be surprised if a walk down the aisle happens in the future for the couple.

"Max plans to propose to Demi after this whole pandemic is resolved and their families wouldn't be surprised by the proposal. They think they make a great couple," said a source.

Max had planned to propose to Demi after quarantine ends.

According to Us Weekly, both Ehrich and Lovato have been discussing the prospect of marriage in recent weeks.

"They've been talking about getting engaged," a source said. "[Their] family really likes him. He'll likely propose within the next couple of months, but when quarantine is over." The source continued, saying that Ehrich has reportedly picked out a "very sizable" engagement ring for the "I Love Me" singer.

"They are really excited about their relationship and enjoying living together during quarantine and seeing where things go,” the source added. "They are very positive influences on each beyond just both being sober."

Max and Demi aren't afraid to show off a little PDA.

On Instagram, Lovato shared that they and their beau took a trip to Joshua Tree National Park. In the photos, the pair are seen sharing a kiss in front of the scenic backdrop of a picture perfect California Sunset.

"Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love @maxehrich ❤️.. I went to work on a project but it was so nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you 🥰🌵☀️,' wrote Lovato alongside the intimate images.

In early July, Lovato shared another loved-up snap taken with their boyfriend and wrote, "Oh man this might be my favorite pic of us so far... thank you for making me the happiest 🥰 I love yew soooo much @maxehrich 😍💕." He shared the same photo on Instagram, along with the caption, "mi amor."

Demi and Max made date night effortlessly chic.

Max gave Demi the sweetest birthday shout-out on Instagram.

Ehrich took to Instagram to wish his fiancée the happiest of birthdays alongside a series of photos of the couple cuddling up together.

"Words fall short baby. you light up this world & i am the luckiest man alive to call you my fiancé. i keep falling more in love with you & your pure heart & soul every moment," wrote Ehrich. "Can't wait to make endless memories with u & forever cherish you with all my heart. happy 28th, my angel @ddlovato 💘🎂."

Demi and Max were "making magic."

Sharing a loved-up photo on Instagram, Lovato teased that they were "Making magic with bae," as they posed with Ehrich. Lovato looks seriously glam in the snap, and it appeared that the couple is shooting something special.

Ehrich posted the same photo, along with the hilarious caption, "I look like a dork and baby looks like a goddess." He posted another photo which looked as though it was taken during the same shoot and wrote, "out here mobbin 🎥🎬🎧," while Lovato posed in the perfect dress.

Quarantine "accelerated" their romance.

In an interview with The Morning Mash Up on SiriusXM Hits 1, via People, Lovato revealed that the coronavirus pandemic had a huge impact on her burgeoning relationship with Ehrich. "We were able to share this time together that we wouldn't have normally gotten to spend," they explained. "And that accelerated our relationship on a level that you can't really explain to people, but quarantine either makes or breaks the deal. And it really made that."

Lovato continued, "We started dating. We immediately went into quarantine. I knew I loved him the night I met him. So a week later we went into quarantine. I was like, 'Look, we're quarantining together. Um, cause I love you.'"
