  • Demi Lovato just debuted "round one" of her Halloween costumes this year.

  • She dressed up a French noblewoman in the late 1700s, most likely queen Marie Antoinette.

  • Demi has been slaying the Halloween costume game for years, having previously dressed up as a zombie and Tejano singer Selena Quintanila.

When you’re a celebrity, you don’t do Halloween like the rest of us mere mortals—you just don't. There’s no scrolling through Amazon for ideas or throwing together a look at the last minute. This stuff takes serious time and planning (lookin' at you, Heidi Klum). This spooky season, Demi Lovato is bringing her A-game because she just debuted a Halloween costume on Instagram that is absolutely stunning.

In the pic, the "Sober" singer appears to be dressed up as a French noblewoman in late 1700s, most likely famous queen Marie Antoinette. She has sky-high hair, pale makeup, lashes for days, and a lacy, corseted top with brocade. (Peep the second pic in her photo series for a full body shot.)

Demi doesn’t say who she is in the caption, but she did reveal that this is only "round one" of her Halloween experience, hinting there are more costumes to come. "I told y’all I don’t play on Halloween!! It’s my time to shine. glam team killed it," she wrote.

The reaction in her comments is everything you’d expect. “AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!!!” wrote Debra Messing. “Oh my god! Killed it,” wrote Christian Serratos. And, of course, there were a ton of fire emojis.

Demi doesn’t disappoint on Halloween. Last year, she dressed up as a super creepy zombie with a look that was a little…intense. Two years ago, she dressed up as Tejano singer Selena Quintanila, complete with the late singer’s iconic purple jumpsuit.

Oh, and before that, she and buddy Nick Jonas went as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz.

So yeah, Demi really doesn’t play on Halloween—she wins.
