  • Demi Lovato posted a new Instagram Reel wearing a crop top and sweatpants.

  • Demi said that she "accidentally lost weight" even thought she doesn't restrict anymore.

  • Demi said she is "full not of food but of divine wisdom and cosmic guidance" these days.

Demi Lovato is full of body love in her latest Instagram post. In the Instagram Reel, she appears to be literally sparkling and glowing with "peace, serenity, joy, and love," per her caption, for herself and her body.

"Accidentally lost weight," she wrote. "I don't count calories anymore. I don't over exercise anymore. I don't restrict or purge. And I especially don't live my live accordingly [sic] to diet culture."

Demi has been open about her struggles with bulimia and how societal pressures to be thin and control her body have been overwhelming in the past. Recently, she discussed with Ashley Graham on her Pretty Big Deal podcast about how her eating disorder and overexercising may have triggered her most recent relapse with drugs.

"I was just running myself into the ground, and I honestly think that’s kind of what led to everything happening over the past year,” Demi said. “It was just me thinking I found recovery when I didn’t and then living this kind of lie, and trying to tell the world that I was happy with myself when I really wasn’t.”

Luckily, it seems like Demi is doing a lot better these days. On her post, she wrote "I feel full. Not of food. But of divide wisdom and cosmic guidance. Peace."

Brb, I'm about to write peace, serenity, joy, and love on post-it notes to stick on my bathroom mirror so I am reminded everyday that I should strive toward those words.
