Demi Lovato just debuted a new buzzcut

Demi Lovato has treated us to the freshest of trims – a buzzcut, obviously – just in time for the new year.
They debuted their new look on Instagram with a short video by photographer and director Angelo Kritikos, with the caption, "Shot on FaceTime by @angelokritikos 🖤 #freshstart."
Demi complemented their new ~ lewk ~ with a fierce pair of gold earrings, bold brows, and the glossiest of lips. Oh and don't forget their signature smoky, yet dramatic, eyeshadow and fuller-than-full lashes. Let's be honest, it's giving us extreme New Year's Eve inspiration.
We're not the only ones falling hard for their new trim, as fans flooded Demi's Instagram post with admiration. Carly Lawrence (of Too Hot To Handle fame) commented "Gorgeous ❤️," while Carlos Guevara wrote "Fierce AF," and Renee Rouleau added, "There they are in all their fierceness! 🦁."

Demi is no stranger to chopping and changing their hair. In November 2020, when Demi hosted the People's Choice Awards, they stepped out with platinum blonde locks – a strong departure from their previous jet-black look.
A week later, Demi had converted their hairstyle to a pixie crop with a shaved undercut, sharing the look to their Instagram account with the caption, "I did a thing."
In March 2021, Demi debuted a flapper girl crop, coiffing their pixie-cut into high-shine curls along their hairline. They accessorised the classic look with a diamond-adorned site parting. Phenomenal.
They then set all our hearts alight with a fierce mullet, which they showed off at the 2021 iHeart Radio Music Awards, which they paired with dramatic smoky eyes and a purple crush-velvet suit.
Honestly, it's just lewk-after-lewk with Demi. We can't wait to see what's next 👀
