1. What Does It Look Like?

The engagement ring features a huge pear-shaped diamond that’s set on a platinum or white gold band. The sparkler was designed by Teresa Panico from Material Good, who consulted with the couple to create the ring.

According to Jessica Flinn-Allen (CEO of Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery), the ring is estimated to be around nine carats. As a result, the accessory likely cost around $630,000 to $760,000. Cha-ching!

Flinn-Allen revealed that it’s not only a timeless style, but it’s also flattering. “Pear-cut diamond engagement rings, known for their elegant teardrop shape, offer a timeless yet contemporary style,” she said. “This distinct cut symbolizes love and emotion, making it a meaningful choice for those seeking a unique and romantic engagement ring.”

4. Who Is Jordan “Jutes” Lutes?

Jutes is a Canadian musician who has been dating Lovato since August 2022. He collaborated with the singer on their latest album, Holy Fvck, where he’s credited with co-writing “Substance,” “Happy Ending” and “City of Angels.”

Lovato shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram announcing the engagement. The first photo was a candid shot of the couple, and it was followed by a close-up pic of the ring.

The caption read, “I’m still speechless. Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic.. My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby.”
