Demi Lovato and Austin Wilson Have Reportedly Broken Up
After just a few months of dating, it appears as though Demi Lovato and Austin Wilson have called it quits.
People reports that the couple, who first made their relationship known in November, have officially broken up. A source told the outlet that Demi is choosing to focus on herself, her music, and her faith in the upcoming single phase of her life, adding: “She’s excited for what this next chapter in 2020 will bring.”
On social media, fans noticed that Austin has seemingly unfollowed Demi — often a clue that trouble is brewing. The model also deleted an Instagram that was previously posted to his page, showing the two kissing in a mirror selfie.
For her part, Demi has been relatively quiet on social about the rumored breakup; however, the singer seemingly responded to a fan on IG, asking her followers to be kind to Austin. “Please don’t go after him,” Demi wrote in a DM, according to a fan’s screenshots. “He’s a good guy. Much better than what people see on the outside just because he’s got a lot of tattoos. Breakups are hard for both parties involved. Just stay nice and say prayers.”
Demi and Austin became IG official last month, when the singer referred to the model as "My ❤️." Prior to that, Demi had been linked to The Bachelorette's Mike Johnson, with whom she was reportedly hanging out earlier this year.
