Demi Lovato's Sister Says She's "Doing Really Well"

Demi Lovato's family is giving fans a few updates into her progress in rehab. Entertainment Tonight reports that her sister, Madison De La Garza, appeared on the podcast Millennial Hollywood with Dakota T. Jones and offered up some insight into how her sister is doing.
In an interview, De La Garza told Jones that although the process has been tough on the family, everyone is working together and Lovato is making great progress. It's been nearly two months since Lovato entered rehab following her stay at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a drug overdose.
"Demi's doing really well," De La Garza said. "She's working really hard on her sobriety and we're all so incredibly proud of her. It's been crazy for our family. It's been a lot, but we've been through a lot together."

She noted that no matter what they've gone through, the family's always become stronger. Even thought it'll take time for Demi to recover, they know that every bit of progress is good news. "Every time we go through something, we always come out the other side 100 times stronger than before," she added. "We've just been so thankful for everything, for the little things."
De La Garza's comments are just the latest insight into how Lovato is doing. Just last month, the sisters' mom, Dianna De La Garza, gave reporters an update as well. She sounded less optimistic than Madison at the time, noting that the family was unsure if Lovato would survive, but also noted that she never gave up hope.

"She just didn't look good at all," Dianna said during an appearance on Newsmax TV. "She was in bad shape, but I said to her, 'Demi, I'm here, I love you.' And at that point, she said back to me, 'I love you too.' From that point on, I never allowed myself to ever think that things weren't going to be okay [...] we just didn't know for two days if she was going to make it or not."
