Travelers seeking a last-minute escape to a warm or international destination during the winter can now take off without breaking the bank.

Delta Air Lines' “New Year, New Adventures” promotion offers discounted deals on flights with cash or SkyMiles. Listed on Delta’s Current Flight Deals webpage, it's complete with a helpful filter where travelers can select their desired departure city to easily find discounts from their airport of choice.

Travel + Leisure found that some of the roundtrip flight deals include:

  • Atlanta (ATL) to Orlando (MCO) for $262 or 21,000 Miles + $12

  • Chicago (ORD) to Nashville (BNA) for $264 or 31,000 Miles + $12

  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Austin (AUS) - $294 or 25,500 miles + $12

  • New York (LGA) to Nashville (BNA) - $187 or 15,000 Miles + $12

The deals also extend to international airfare, including flights from New York (JFK) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS) — which is currently under a travel advisory — for $348 or 20,000 Miles + $12, with available travel dates between March 1, 2024 and March 14, 2024.

Delta also has promotional offers to several popular destinations across Europe, which are all under $1,000 for a round-trip ticket, or under 70,000 miles, when departing from New York’s JFK Airport:

  • Lisbon, Portugal (LIS)

  • Dublin, Ireland (DUB)

  • Reykjavik, Iceland (KEF)

  • Barcelona Spain (BCN)

  • Paris, France (CDG)

  • Brussels, Belgium (BRU)

  • Milan, Italy (MXP)

  • Frankfurt, Germany (FRA)

Once a traveler selects the cities through Delta’s flight deal webpage, the booking process then allows travelers to see the available date and departure time options.  There is no published end date of the promotion, as Delta says the promotional prices are “subject to availability”.

Delta also recently brought back their status match program, which can help travelers earn a fast track to frequent flyer status by matching an existing program.
