There Will Be a Deliciously Creepy 'Hannibal' Zoom Reunion on July 11

From Men's Health

Remember Hannibal? It was the notoriously blood-soaked, thriller-horror show that NBC prematurely cancelled in 2015 after just three seasons. Fans loved it. Critics loved it. And thanks to newfound popularity after dropping on Netflix this month, the cast is coming back together once more for a bloody good time—well, sort of.

Amid the pandemic, the Nerdist recently hosted a reunion for the entire Hannibal cast, which includes Hugy Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen, who played Will Graham and the infamous Hannibal Lecter, respectively, as well as actors Gillian Anderson (Bedelia Du Maurier), Caroline Dhavernas (Alana Bloom), Katie Isabelle (Margot Verger), Raúl Esparza (Frederick Chilton), Hettiene Park (Beverly Katz), Kacey Rohl (Abigail Hobbs), Scott Thompson (Jimmy Price), and Aaron Abrams (Brian Zeller).

Executive producer Martha De Laurentiis, co-producer Loretta Ramos, and director/executive producer David Slade also joined the call, as well as Janice Poon, the show’s food consultant, to discuss her meticulous preparation of the famous long pig.

The reunion is set to air on Nerdist’s YouTube Channel on July 11 at 10am PT, along with Geek & Sundry’s YouTube and Twitch channels, the latter of which will be live-streamed with some cast and crew members, too.

As for season four rumors, well, don't hold your breath just yet. While its creator, Bryan Fuller, has some ideas about where the show might head after its major third season cliffhanger, the fate of the show remains uncertain (for now, that is).
