What Delaware pizza deserves a place on the map?

The Washington Post recently put out a map to look up the best pizza in all 50 states and broke down the styles as determined by 7.5 million Yelp reviews.

Delaware is included and you can see the results for three different pizza styles including Detroit, Neapolitan-ish, and New York.

The top results all go to places in Sussex County, which although worthy, kind of surprised me. Hmm.

What about La Pizzeria Metro off Miller Road in Wilmington? Dom's New York-style Pizza in Newport? And Nick's Pizza, which has been operating out of Kozy Korner Diner and is planning a brick-and-mortar spot soon in Prices Corner?

The top Detroit style, according to the article, is Ava's Pizzeria and Wine Bar, a newish restaurant at 29 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach (that had once been the home of Jake's Seafood).

The top Neapolitan-ish is Crust & Craft, a wood-fired pizzeria now operated by SoDel Concepts at 18701 Coastal Highway (Route 1) also in Rehoboth.

And, according to the article, Pomodoro Pizzeria at 101 Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach, has the best New York-style pizza.

What do you think about the results?
