Deer drops by gift shop and walks inside

Lori Jones is used to seeing wildlife. She works at a gift shop at the Horsetooth Inn and RV Park in Fort Collins, Colo. It’s not uncommon to run into animals at the scenic getaway, located at the foot of the Rockies, but Jones came very close to a deer that apparently had an urge to do some shopping. Jones told the Dodo, “She was looking at the sunglasses and the chips. I was laughing so hard.” That’s right: This doe didn’t just stop at the doorway. She went right inside the store. Jones had seen the deer before, roaming the grounds. She was able to escort the animal outside, but the doe soon returned with some guests. Jones said, "About 30 minutes later, here comes the deer again with her whole family. This time she brought back her twins, and this one young buck that she adopted." A family shopping trip? The animals appeared to be hungry. Jones, who usually doesn’t feed the wildlife, was able to lure them out with a peanut bar.
