One of the things that sets this series apart is its uniquely Bollywood flavor; created for Mattel Television by Bollywood animator Munjal Shroff, with Dragon Tales writer Lisa Goldman and producer Heather Kenyon (Doki Adventures), it’s a beautiful tribute to Deepa’s Indian heritage and culture. Deepa & Anoop will feature original songs and dances; one in each episode will have a traditional Bollywood presentation. The series is also voiced by Indian actors, including Pavan Bharaj as Deepa, Ana Sani (The Magic School Bus) as Mama, and Veena Sood (The Twilight Zone) as Naani-ji.
