Debby Ryan and Josh Dun Are Engaged
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Debby Ryan and Josh Dun!
The Insatiable star and Twenty One Pilots musician announced their engagement on Saturday, December 22, with a series of straight-up adorable social media posts. “I said yes!” Debby wrote on Twitter, before hilariously clarifying: “Well technically I said ‘NO WAY’ twice but I meant yes.” Her sweet post was accompanied by a series of photos documenting their engagement, including one of the “down on one knee” moment — and a close-up of the ring itself, which is, as expected, breathtaking.
Josh shared the big news on Instagram, revealing that the proposal went down in a “tree house in the woods in New Zealand.” (A+ for creativity.) “She my dude for life,” he added. “I love you Debby.”
And according to Debby’s Instagram story, the surprises didn’t stop there. Josh continued to put a smile on her face all evening by unknowingly flying out Debby’s brother and sister-in-law to help celebrate their engagement dinner, which was complete with cake and festive balloons.
Debby and Josh have been together since 2013, and, despite some reported rocky patches in the middle, it’s clear that things only got better from there. In August 2018, Debby told The Sydney Morning Herald that she and Josh were in love and very happy. “We've evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met,” the actor said. “It's cool and special to have that support system and we are each other's biggest fans.”
