  • Debbie Gibson got busy showing off her long, strong legs in a miniskirt and heels while performing on stage at Madison Square Garden in a new Instagram video.

  • Because of some health conditions, the 51-year-old singer is mindful of what kind of food she's putting into her body.

  • Debbie enjoys spinning, jogging, and low-impact workouts to stay active.

Debbie Gibson just proved that even celebrities get starstruck. The singer took to the stage at Madison Square Garden to sing a Billy Joel song (she posted it on Instagram BTW), and while her voice was the star of the show, her mega-toned legs were also causing quite a stir in a miniskirt.

The singer's Instagram caption calls Billy Joel her "#1 INSPIRATION 🎹💙," and she continued with a tender homáge to her idol.

"@billyjoel has this uncanny ability to command @thegarden yet make us all feel like we are in the piano bar witnessing the greatness and the music for the very first time," she wrote. "The music brings people together in a way that is timeless and magical and I could go on and on…if you’re a fan then you know!" She has a point—both Billy and Debbie have a special way with songs.

Debbie also shouted out a younger artist who has been making a big splash lately. "BRAVA to @oliviarodrigo who took the stage like a boss which is always a bold move with a veteran artist like Billy and, you rocked it girl !!!" she said in her caption. It seems like fun was had all around.

Fans were quick to agree. "I ❤️ hearing you sing Billy’s songs ! So happy that you got to see him again 😍😍😍," one fan wrote. "Talent attracts talent," another said. A final follower was distracted by "🔥🔥🔥🔥Those legs," which TBH, are pretty hard to miss.

Debbie is really focused on how she fuels her body, in part because of gut issues, and her Lyme Disease diagnosis, per HELLO! Magazine. One big fave is bone broth, she said.

On the workout front, Debbie takes a relaxed approach to her exercise routines. "On stage, I'll push my limits. But I don't overdo exercise otherwise," she said. "I have a Peloton to use when I want to. But I do 10 or 15 mins of low impact work. Then I walk my dog, jog, or do things which feel like they flow and fit into my life."

I like the way she thinks! Keep up the good work, Debbie!
