Dean Unglert Shares a Cryptic Post About Love Amid Breakup Rumors

Another couple from The Bachelor: Winter Games appears to have bitten the dust. Just days after Clare Crawley and Benoit Beauséjour-Savard made the heartbreaking announcement that they were no longer engaged to be married, breakup buzz has begun to swirl around another of the show’s most popular couples: Dean Unglert and Lesley Murphy.

The reality star, who had his heart broken by Rachel Lindsay on The Bachelorette before going on to become entangled in a love triangle on Bachelor in Paradise, fake proposed to his new lady love on the World Tells All finale back in February with a key that symbolized his desire for her to move in with him. Now, outlets such as Us Weekly, People, and E! are now reporting that the pair has called it quits.

Though neither Unglert nor Murphy has addressed the rumors directly, the former did post a rather telling Instagram post yesterday which seemed to speak to their possible split.

 

“Growing up as a kid I had a crude but utopian idea of what love is. I always had this idea that no matter what you did, no matter how you act, as long as you’re true to yourself and act in good conscious, your path would lead you to the one person on this planet you’re meant to be with,” he wrote. “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that although everyone DESERVES love, it’s not something we’re entitled to. Love takes work. Love is compromise. Love is earned. I still have a lot of work to do on myself, a lot to prove to myself, before I’m ready for something like that.”

Murphy, for her part, has remained mum, sans for a shoutout to her loved ones.

“Good friends and a loving family. Crazy blessed today and always,” she mused.
