Dean Unglert Says His Ex-Girlfriend Has Been Cast on Clayton Echard’s ’Bachelor’ Season

Bachelor Nation producers are once again out here doing the most, and by that I mean they’ve cast Dean Unglert’s ex-girlfriend on Clayton Echard's upcoming season of The Bachelor.
"You know, uh, my ex-girlfriend is actually on the season of the next ‘Bachelor,’” Dean told Jared Haibon on their podcast, via fan-fave fan account @bachelornation.scoop. “She was, like, one of the main exes. She was my girlfriend from college. I’ve talked about her on the podcast a few times. But...I told..so producers called me and were like, ‘Hey, we’re thinking of casting this person—what do you think of her? We know that you dated 10 years ago.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, she’s great. If she gets selected for the show, she’ll either win the show or she’ll be the next Bachelorette.’ And I firmly believe that. And she’s 31 so if she becomes Bachelorette...Clare’s 39, so I guess they already kinda skewed a little bit older with her.”
Dean added that he and his ex dated for about a year and a half when they were 19, saying, “She was probably the second love of my life, if you will. It’s funny actually because when I got cast on the first show I was on, she texted me and was like, “Oh, it’s good to see you moving on” or something like that. So when she got cast, I texted her and was like, “It’s good to see you moving on.” It’s just funny how she was giving me crap for going on the show, and now she’s going on the show. It’s kinda silly.”
