Deaf and Blind Rescue Dog's Fascination Over Mom's Gardening Is So Beautiful

You can just tell how much this sweet dog is loving this.

Deaf and blind dogs may be missing two of their senses, but they are still capable of experiencing the world through their other senses, such as taste, touch, and most importantly, smell. Take the beautiful dog named Aston who belongs to TikTok user @Atouchofaston. Mom decided to bring Aston with her into the yard for some spring gardening, and you can tell just by watching him how much he's loving this.

We absolutely adore his curious little head tilt! Even when dogs have their sight and hearing intact, they rely heavily on their sense of smell to interact with the world around them. Through their keen sense of smell, dogs can locate objects and identify scents, and they derive great pleasure from experiencing the world through their noses.

TikTok user @Mckenna sweetly comments, "The way I would never stop digging in the dirt if it meant I could bond with my dog this way." @Ells adds, "I love how even without hearing his ears perk up like that!!" @Steph says, "I would dig in the yard every single day." @Kina makes a very sad comment with, "The way I’m sobbing because he’ll never see dirt." Awwwwww.

We hope this sweet dog gets a lot more sunny days spent keeping mom company in the garden.
