Zazie Beetz has teased her possible return as Domino in the hotly-anticipated Deadpool threequel.

The Joker actress–most recently seen in Bullet Train alongside a star-studded cast–first played the mercenary character in Deadpool 2 opposite Ryan Reynold's titular antihero.

As a third Merc with a Mouth outing is officially in the works, Beetz may well put the black suit back on. She, however, was tight-lipped about reprising the role.

"Well, I can't, obviously, really say anything, but I feel lucky. I just can't really divulge or say anything, so we'll see, I suppose," the actress told The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite Beetz being wary of the Marvel spoiler police, it appears there is a good chance fans haven't seen the last of Domino just yet – though we'll have to wait for an official casting announcement before rejoicing.

While she couldn't say whether she's part of Deadpool number three or not, Beetz has thanked her training for Domino when prepping to play Hornet in the action-packed Bullet Train.

Both films are directed by David Leitch, who asked Beetz back on his latest film for a cameo involving a fighting scene with protagonist Brad Pitt.

"[My Domino training] has served me well in any movie where I've had to do anything like that. It wasn't the same stunt team this time, but the crew was the same as Deadpool 2. So it felt familiar in a way, and David is just so knowledgeable," she said. "So Deadpool was a huge foundational stunt boot camp for me."
