It's finally happened, after two very long years of waiting, Dead To Me season three dropped on Netflix yesterday (17th November).

Dead To Me tells the story of two women Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini) who bond over their grief during therapy. However, things soon start to become more unhinged as Jen digs deeper into the mystery of her husband's death and Judy's secrets.

Season three picks right back up from that season 2 finale in which Jen and Judy were caught in a car crash. Season three focuses on the aftermath of the car crash and both women receive shocking news that will change their lives.

Sadly, Netflix confirmed season three of Dead To Me will be the final series of the show long before the third series came out yesterday (17th November). Christina, who also serves as executive producer on the show, said: "We felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women," when announcing the final season in 2020.

And it seems that knowing it's the last season of Dead To Me has made watching the final series super emotional for fans of the show.

Many fans have been tweeting their reactions to the show, with some saying it's so emotional it made them cry, "Dead To Me has me sobbing, f**k this show 😭😭," one person said.

Another said: "I cannot put into words how I feel about Dead To Me season 3, except that was the most perfect piece of television I’ve ever seen and I’m an emotional wreck right now."

And another person said: "Just finished Dead To Me season 3 and for a VERY long time I am satisfied with an ending to a tv show whilst also being very emotional."

Right, don't mind me, I'll just be watching the final season with a big box of tissues then.

Dead To Me season three is available on Netflix now.
