Settling it all down. DDG responded to his girlfriend Halle Bailey’s pregnancy rumors.

The two became official on Halle’s birthday in 2002. Halle called him her first love in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “You know, you have puppy love experiences, you think that’s love,” she said. “But this is my first deep, deep, real love.” As for DDG, he’s equally in love.  “I’ve never been with nobody that’s, like, really motivated me like she do,” he said on The Breakfast Club, adding that he could see himself proposing “eventually.”

In response, DDG changed his bio to “Rich Bum.” He also posted, “updated my bio to clear up confusion 🙏🏽” In a post on X that has since been deleted, DDG wrote, “The way folks talk about me on here you’d think I killed somebody … I literally be chillin.”

Is Halle Bailey pregnant? Halle did not confirm her pregnancy and marriage status in a Glamour interview. A quote pulled from Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s interview was inserted into Halle’s interview. “Being a mum, being newly married—there’s the positive side of it, but also the negative,” Pinnock wrote. “I want to show that although things might look perfect from the exterior, that’s not always the case.”

Pregnancy rumors were fueled when Halle was wearing an oversized hoodie and fans thought that they could see a baby bump.

“All these girls the same, ain’t no way,” he wrote in a now-deleted tweet. Fans and even Halle’s older sister Ski theorized the tweet could have been directed towards cheating, but the rapper clarified. “Nobody cheated on nobody btw. Don’t take my tweets too serious.”

Nonetheless, Halle gushes about her love life a lot and recounted an important lesson from her family. “Make sure you never interrupt your work ethic’” she explained. “My business and my work life are the priority, because at the end of the day I want my family and my future children to have a beautiful life. Love is great, and love feels wonderful—but never neglect your work.”

She looks towards the future, “I want to have like 10 babies and go live on a farm and have a great house,” she said. “I wanna grow my own food and have an oasis away from the world, where my family and I go and have a great time.”

After the rumors emerged, British Vogue said that she settled the problems with her boyfriend and she then talked about how it affected her outlook on life. “Experiencing deep love for the first time in my life is something I feel has opened a whole new world for me creatively,” she told the publication. “What it feels like to love someone other than your family, like somebody you may not have known two years ago but now they’re the centre of your world. I like all of the scary feelings that come with that. I like the suspense, the not knowing what’s going to happen, and I feel like that’s what I’m supposed to be going through in womanhood.
