DC museums offering free admission for Walk Weekend

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Several museums in D.C. are offering free entry on Saturday and Sunday for the annual Walk Weekend.

Organizers said that seven different museums will be open for free from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 18 and 19.

During those days, you can head to Anderson House, Dumbarton House, Dupont Underground, the National Museum of American Jewish Military History, O Museum in the Mansion, The Phillips Collection or The President Wilson House.

Organizers said that you will still have to buy a ticket to see the special Bonnard’s Worlds exhibition at The Phillips Collection.

The Secret Gardens of Asia exhibit, outdoor gardens and gatehouse are included in free entry to the O Museum, but you will have to buy a ticket to see all of the other exhibits and look for the museum’s secret doors.
