I live for a shiny manicure that is chip-free. Like many people, I rely on gel manicures to ensure I keep my nails looking flawless for days on end, but it comes at a cost. My nails are so weak and brittle that whenever they get any longer than my fingertips, they inevitably break off at the corners. I don’t necessarily want long nails, but I would like for them to grow longer than nubs.

When I recently complained to my nail technician about how my nails break at the corners, he suggested a Dazzle Dry manicure. Because I’d been so used to always getting a gel manicure, I had no idea what this Dazzle Dry option even was.

I soon learned that Dazzle is a four-step system that delivers the shiny look and long-lasting finish of a gel manicure without the UV light or the harsh removal process that damages your nails. I was intrigued, so I tried it.

Nine days later, I’m happy to report that the Dazzle Dry manicure definitely lives up to the hype. Today is the first day I noticed a small chip, but nine days is a pretty impressive run for a non-gel option.

As it turns out, you don’t even have to go to your nail salon to get a Dazzle Dry manicure; the entire four-step system is available on Amazon.

Shoppers have the option to buy a Dazzle Dry mini kit that includes the nail prep, base coat, top coat, and color polish. There’s even a bonus nail polish thinner included that you can use to keep the consistency of your polishes just right. In addition to the pretty pale pink set shown above, the Dazzle Dry mini kit is also available with shades like dusty rose, milky white, mauve, sheer strawberry, metallic candy apple red, bright orange-red, cherry red and more.

Given that the Dazzle Dry nail polish delivers on its promises to be quick-drying and long-lasting, shoppers on Amazon are raving about it.

“Best nail polish ever,” commented one shopper. “When used with the system it lasts and looks like gel but no UV light and dries under 5 minutes. Really great stuff.”

Another shopper who spent time letting their nails recover from acrylic manicures commented, “I searched everywhere for a product that was long lasting and kind to my nail beds. I think this is it! I followed the step-by-step instructions and my manicure stayed fresh-looking for 10 days.”

I was definitely skeptical that anything could compare to the shiny finish and staying power of a gel manicure, but I have to admit the Dazzle Dry nail polish is pretty amazing. Even better, it’s cheaper than a gel manicure at the salon, and I can do it myself at home without any special tools or lights. If you’re a nail girl (or want to be one this summer!), you need to try this stuff. It’s the real deal.
