Days of our Lives’ Raven Bowens Celebrates Her Birthday

Raven Bowens has been playing Chanel Dupree on Days of Our Lives since she took on the role in 2021. Now, the actress is celebrating a very special day.

Born on March 24, 1995, in San Diego, CA, Bowens kicks off her final year in her 20s as she turns 29 today! She’s been known for her roles in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Insecure, and Lifetime’s The Simone Biles Story: Courage to Soar where she played Simone Biles’ sister Adria.

In addition to acting, Bowens has already tried her hand at producing. The DAYS star served as a co-producer for 2017’s Meat Puppet: The Filmed Experience.

As for her beloved DAYS character, Bowens was a recast for Chanel, who was originally played by Precious Way. But, it was Bowens’ portrayal that saw the character come out as fluid, eventually entering into relationships with both Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and Johnny (Carson Boatman), who she recently married.

When she’s not acting, Bowens considers herself a “tea enthusiast,” co-owning tea company Peace Potions with her sister Tiana.

Bowens just joined her family in celebrating another birthday, her mom’s, which was spent with Express Passes at Universal Studios Hollywood. Bowens captured the magical day in an Instagram reel captioned, “Thank you @unistudios for making my moms [sic] express pass birthday dream come true … she had the time of her life… can y’all tell?”
