Daym Drops Will Only Make PB&J Sandwiches With This Specific Jelly

This video is part of “Netflix Cooking School," Delish’s new partnership with Netflix where we bring readers exclusive content tied to the premieres of some of their most popular new (and returning!) food shows.

Daym Drops of YouTube fame and Netflix's show Fresh, Fried & Crispy may be known for his reviews of restaurant meals, but we got a peak inside his kitchen to see what he eats at home. He may not be much of a cook himself, but always keeps his cabinets stocked with the essentials.

While showing up around his cabinets, fridge, and bar, Daym spoke his truth about food hot takes and what he considers kitchen essentials. In his opinion, everyone should be keeping a good selection of spices on hand.

"If you're not seasoning your food you're not doing food the right way," he said: "You might like bland food, that means I'm not coming to your house. Your spice rack gotta be crazy for me to even walk through your front door."

Some of his basics include Adobo, vanilla, and honey for his mint tea and rainbow sprinkles for his daughter. Other essentials include the necessary items for a classic PB&J sandwich. As he so eloquently put it: "You can go Jif, you can go Skippy, but you definitely gotta go Smuckers."

You'll always find olives, milk, beans, potato chips, and whiskey in his house but his go-to of choice is Tito's vodka, pineapple juice, and a splash of OJ. Make sure you write that one down for later.

Fresh, Fried, & Crispy's first season is streaming now on Netflix.
