Davos: bars and nightlife
After dark there’s a surprisingly wide choice of bars and late night entertainment in Davos.
Budget
Bolgenschanze is inside the snowboarders' hotel of the same name. It's something of a cult hotel, decorated in Art Nouveau style, and its bar hosts DJs, high-profile music gigs and themed nights, with a lively party atmosphere. The eclectic music includes rock, hip-hop and reggae.
Mid-range
Ex-Bar is in the centre of Platz and stays open until the early hours. The decor is kitsch, with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and an indoor palm tree. Bar snacks include chicken wings, burgers and snails.
Expensive
The Morosani Posthotel attracts the cool crowd and is open till late. It has an alpine decor with lots of rough-hewn wood and blazing log fires.
