Looks like Hopper's secrets are finally coming out on Stranger Things.

Fans will have a lot to look forward to when the show comes back for its fourth season. While production is currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic, David Harbour revealed that Hopper fans will get the chance to see more about his backstory when the show finally returns.

A new video from Liverpool Comic Con, which took place in March, revealed that some clues from season three will come out and be a part of his backstory.

"So there are these three things that we've established in the season that if we don't pay off, it means that they're bad writers," he said. "And the Duffer brothers are very good writers. So I know specifically that in season four we will give you a big, huge reveal about Hopper's backstory, which we haven't really told you about."

The three things refer to the boxes that Eleven finds in his attic that are labeled as "dad", "Vietnam" and "New York".

"I'm so excited about revealing this aspect of the character. It's one of the things that I've known since the first frame of the first shot, and we haven't expressed it yet," David continued. "And finally we're gonna express it in a big way. It's my favorite thing about him that you guys don't know about him yet, but it has to do with these backstories of New York, Vietnam, and dad. And I'm really excited for you guys to know more about that. And it relates, of course, to things he's doing with Eleven and Joyce and things like that."

As fans recently discovered, Hopper is currently stuck in Russia after disappearing in the lab that him and the rest of the gang were at. While Joyce tried to close the portal to the Upside Down, Hopper ended up vanishing, leaving everyone to believe that he was dead.

Looks like Stranger Things 4 is already setting up to be its craziest season yet.
