Dave & Buster's Has Plans To Make A Comeback This Summer, So Get Ready For A Good Time

If you're one of the many people who have desperately missed hanging out at Dave & Buster's since the onset of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, you can finally take a deep breath. Revving up for an epic return, the popular family entertainment venue has plans to make this summer the best one yet. And, they'll do it safely.

Complete with a new and improved menu, a list of fun new games, and a continued investment into ghost kitchens, the brand is planning to get back on the radar of those looking to have a good time. Additionally, Dave & Buster's Entertainment, Inc. noted that they have been testing two virtual brands that will highlight specified portions of their new menus with one in particular being named Wings Out—a delivery service that will include a narrowed down menu of chicken wings and tenders equipped with a variety of sauces.

“We've been relatively silent for 12 months and we feel like summer is the right time to strike pretty hard,” CEO Brian Jenkins said. And we couldn't agree more.

The plan to launch the improved brand strategy—which will also include an even better contactless experience—comes after a rough year for Dave & Buster's as the fourth quarter of 2020 saw a 70 percent same-store sales decline. Hopefully, though, this summer's revival plans will get Dave & Buster's back on track and be able to get visitors back to a place of full happiness.
