This Darth Vader Grill Is The Coolest Way to Cook You’ll See Today

Yes, it’s only March. But the first warm-ish days of the year are just around the corner, which means that it’s almost time to start throwing all manner of meats and veggies on a gas or charcoal grill.

And if you somehow aren’t ready for grilling season already, you definitely will be fired up after seeing this amazing Star Wars grill. The talented metal workers over at Burned By Design in the UK have shown off this super impressive Darth Vader BBQ grill that will convince any propane grilling aficionados to switch over and join the dark side of charcoal.

As evidenced by its Etsy product listing, this dual-purpose wood burner and outdoor grill is designed to depict a large-scale replica of Darth Vader’s iconic helmet from the original (and still best, let’s not kid ourselves) trilogy of Star Wars movies. As the photos show, this thing looks pretty rad when the flames are going, making it look like you’re enjoying your own version of that funeral pyre/Ewok party from the end of Return of the Jedi. Oh, and it’s got a chrome plated grill that swivels into and out of place when you want to use it as a firepit or for actually cooking food.

This behemoth of a grill that’s well versed in the dark side of outdoor food preparation won’t come easily. As Burned By Design is based in the UK, it may take some time for a grill with firepower of this magnitude to get to the US, so you’re going to want to allow somewhere between four and six weeks for this customer order to ship. So if you want it in time for May the 4th, you better get that order in soon.

It’ll also set you back $718.29, which sure isn’t cheap. But you can’t really put a price on owning an artisanally-made grill that’s more awesome than anyone else’s on the block? As the inspiration for this badass grill once said, “search your feelings, you know it to be true.”
