Professional skier Daron Rahlves is a man of many talents. He has participated in multiple disciplines at the professional level including alpine racing, ski cross, and freeride competitions.

The video below shows Rahlves flexing his range of his skills. Watch as he transitions from a technical couloir to crashing gates on the slopes of Portillo, Chile:

Rahlves is 50 years young, and can still absolutely rip. I love to see that.

It's hard to make out which specific model of skis Rahlves is using in the clip, but Atomic needs to market them as 'versatile' if they aren't already. Who am I kidding? Every ski is branded as 'versatile' these days.

While the clip was filmed last summer in Portillo, Chile, it's getting me all jazzed up about skiing returning to the southern hemisphere.

Ski resorts across Australia and New Zealand are already getting things going, and the majority of resorts in South America have targeted openings within the next few weeks.
