County Executive Jim Tedesco said there's no place better in Bergen County for the entire family to "beat the heat this summer" than the Lakes at Darlington.

Darlington County Park is 178 acres with three lakes and white sand beaches at the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Mahwah. The park also has a wooded picnic area, open lawns, tennis and handball courts and a bird and wildlife observation.

“Darlington Lake is a true jewel of the Bergen County Parks System. Here at the County, we are happy to be able to offer a great way to have fun, stay active and cool down,” Bergen County Commissioner Steve Tanelli said. “We prioritize and invest a lot of focus into our parks, and it is rewarding to have such a great place for our residents to utilize all summer long.”
