Bijou Phillips offered a brief update on life now that her ex-husband, Danny Masterson, is behind bars.

The 43-year-old actress and model made a rare public appearance at a charity event part of the 2024 Grammys Viewing Party on Sunday, Feb. 4., during which she told E! News reporters, "I'm doing good."

Phillips also added that she and Masterson's 9-year-old daughter, Fianna Francis Masterson, are a "great little team."

Phillips filed for divorce from her then-husband in Sept. 2023, less than two weeks after he received a lengthy prison sentence of 30 years to life, following a jury's decision which found the 47-year-old guilty of two counts of rape back in May 2023. The actor is said to have assaulted the two women at his Hollywood Hills home between 2001 and 2003.

At the time, Phillips was present in the courtroom and reportedly looked "visibly upset" by the judge's sentencing, as did his mother, Carol Masterson, who was also present for the hearing, along with his siblings, Alanna, Jordan and Christopher.

In the divorce papers filed on Monday, Sept. 18, the actress requested to "terminate the court's ability to grant support" to Masterson, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE. The divorce docs listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, while a separation date was listed as "TBD," per the outlet.

The actress, 43, asked that she be granted full legal and physical custody of Fianna, giving Masterson visitation rights. She also requested that their assets be divided up by the court as separate property–with no indication in the papers that the former spouses had a prenuptial agreement in place–and that Masterson pay for her attorney fees.
