NFL players are some of the most talented superhuman athletes on the planet, but does coordination on the field translate to coordination on a bike?

Danny MacAskill, a household name in mountain biking, was sent out to test that crossover with the Los Angeles Chargers running back, Austin Ekeler.

Take a look at the video below to see if Danny could teach the star running back to wheelie.

Danny's wheelie tips extend beyond NFL athletes, anyone could take a moment and listen to some words of wisdom from the master of bike control himself.

It is always cool to see two athletes at fairly peak performance trying to learn each other's sport. Especially in this case as mountain biking and football could not be more different.

What's even more interesting is to see how different physiologies lend themselves to their respective sports. No offense to Danny, but he looks like a stick figure next to Ekeler.

But on the other hand, Austin was far from comfortable on two wheels, especially compared to Danny's effortlessly superhuman balance and body control.

In the end, Austin did learn to wheelie but the two agreed that maybe they weren't cut out for each other's sport.

Austin Ekeler has been out since week 2 of the NFL's regular season but is expected to return on Sunday night for the Chargers' matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. Oh, and I'd be remiss not to mention that Dallas is coming off an embarrassing 42 - 10 beatdown at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.
