Danny DeVito and Rhea Pearlman Have Another Grandchild on the Way

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are about to welcome a new bundle of joy into their family!

The former couple—who are no longer together, but still married—will be welcoming their second grandchild soon, as it was recently revealed that their daughter Lucy, 40, is currently expecting a baby with her fiancé.

While walking the SAG Awards red carpet on Saturday night, Feb. 24, alongside her mother, the mom-to-be appeared classy in a red, flowy gown, while Perlman chose a black long-sleeved lacy dress.

Lucy is reportedly due sometime this summer, a representative for the star confirmed to People.

DeVito and Perlman have three children together. In addition to Lucy, they share son Jake and daughter Grace, and additionally, have one grandchild, though it has not been confirmed which of their daughters welcomed the babe last year—but from the looks of it, it can be assumed that it was their middle child, Grace, 38.

In June 2023, the Cheers alum opened up on an episode of the Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus podcast that one of her daughters had welcomed a daughter of her own named Sinclair Lucille DeVito.

"They kept the name DeVito even though she's married and her husband is not DeVito, but that's what they chose," she said at the time.

The Barbie actress also shared what becoming a grandmother meant to her, stating, "Everybody said it'll change your life when you have a grandchild, and it does."

As for the grandparents-to-be (again), just last month, the estranged spouses—who were both tapped as presenters for the show—reunited on the red carpet of the 75th Emmy Awards, even happily posing alongside Lucy for photos.
