Fans of films from the 2000s felt very, very old over the weekend, when Harry Potter's Rupert Grint, 31, and Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging's Georgia Groome, 28, confirmed they had welcomed their first child together.

Less than a month after revealing they were set to become parents, the actors, who played Ron Weasley and Georgia Nicholson respectively, announced the birth of a girl.

In a statement to The Mirror, their publicist announced, "Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl. We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."

Since then, while the infamously private couple haven't shared any more details about the birth of their child, Rupert's Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe has publicly shared his congratulations.

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Daniel commented, "Yes, I texted him the other day and said I was so happy for him and it's very very cool.'It's also like super weird, for me, to think that we are all at the age where we are all having children, but we definitely are!"

He added that he, Rupert and co-star Emma Watson are "terrible yardsticks for how old people are," continuing, "I remember when I turned 30 I remember a lot of people in my life were really depressed to find out that they're lapped."

He's got a point: if Ron Weasley is having children, we feel very very old. Congratulations are in order for Rupert and Georgia, and here's to hoping Emma and Daniel get named at godparents. Surely!?
