Daniel Radcliffe and His Girlfriend Erin Darke Hit an Official Red Carpet for the First Time in 8 Years

Attention, please: Daniel Radcliffe, aka the Boy Who Lived, made an extremely rare appearance with his girlfriend, actor Erin Darke, this week, and when I say rare, I mean that apparently (at least according to Page Six) this is the first time they’ve stepped out at an event in almost eight (8) years. The occasion in question? The New York City premiere of The Lost City, which Daniel stars in alongside Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, and Brad Pitt.

Daniel and Erin were last seen on an official red carpet together at the Tony Awards alllll the way back in June 2014, where the vibe was approximately this:

These two are obviously are pretty private, but Daniel opened up about their relationship to People back in 2019, saying he and Erin met on the set of Kill Your Darlings. “It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other…her character gives my character a blow job in a library,” he said. “That’s how we met. That was the beginning of our beautiful relationship.”

Daniel also noted that “people do often say what was it like to grow up on film, and as far as I’m concerned, I didn’t. I was on-set all the time, but all the private moments where you grow up are off camera, apart from meeting the girl who is the love of my life and my girlfriend, which is genuinely preserved on film. Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.”
