Daniel Lissing of Hallmark's When Calls the Heart Is Engaged

Congratulations are in order for one of our favorite stars from When Calls the Heart.

Daniel Lissing, who played Constable Jack Thornton—married on screen to Elizabeth Thatcher played by Erin Krakow—is engaged. The 38-year-old actor shared the exciting update on Instagram, writing, "Happy news to share... I get to marry the love of my life," alongside a photo of him and his beloved kissing.

His fiancée, Nadia (who is keeping her last name private for now), also shared the news on Instagram, captioning a photo of the ring followed by a candid of the couple with, "Couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone else."

Nadia revealed to ET that the couple met around a year-and-a-half ago.

"I was traveling after graduating [with] my masters in business. A very happy, slightly intoxicated Australian approached me in a bar. My first impression was, 'This guy is hot but he might be a little crazy.' I'd never met anyone like him before, that's for sure! I felt an instant connection," she told ET. "The way he makes me feel is as if we've always known each other. He just get[s] me at my core and I get him like no one else," she continued. As for the wedding, since the couple both loves the ocean, they hope to have a beachfront, summer wedding.

Hearties, if you're anything like us, you're slightly saddened that Lissing is off the market, but we're so happy to see he's found his soul mate—even if it's not Elizabeth.
