Dalton Gomez Was Spotted Sans Wedding Ring for First Time Since Breaking Up With Ariana Grande

It's been a little over a month since the news of Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez's split (and SpongeBob-gate) broke, and Dalton was just photographed without his wedding ring for the first time. In a photo obtained by TMZ, he's seen with his arms crossed, revealing his left hand ring-free.

Dalton went for a Friday night out playing pool with friends at Barney's Beanery in WeHo, but according to eyewitnesses and the paparazzi pic showing his somber looking face, he wasn't having the best time. Sources told TMZ he "looked incredibly sad the whole time he was there... mostly keeping to himself and staying quiet."

Us Weekly insiders said much of the same about Dalton being down in the dumps, explaining that he's still trying to adapt to his and Ari's breakup.

"It's been a little while since Ariana and Dalton split, but he's been adjusting to his new normal and learning to accept it for what it is. It's certainly not how he expected things to play out because he obviously assumed they would be together forever," the source revealed.

Dalton has always lived a very private life, even during his relationship Ariana, and he's allegedly been struggling with their breakup being so public. "He never imagined he would be going through a divorce in the public eye," the source added. "But he's hanging in there and is grateful for his friends and family who have been really supportive."

Meanwhile, Ariana was first spotted sans ring in July 2023 at Wimbledon sitting in between her Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey and The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield, which sparked initial breakup rumors.

But Ariana and Dalton have reportedly been separated since January this year. The couple supposedly tried to salvage their relationship a few months ago, but it ultimately didn't work out.
