Dakotah Norton Wins First Monster Pro Dh Series Race

The first stop of the first ever US Pro Downhill Series - the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series - went off over the weekend in Rock Creek, North Carolina, and boy is it good to see downhill racing in the US.

The race was tight, filled with drama, and at the end of it all Dakotah Norton and Aletha Ostgaard ended up on top of the heap. Take a look at the podiums and results below.

One notable storyline from the event was Richie Rude. The EDR overall champion qualified fourth but after an unfortunate crash, landed in 14th on the day. All in all, it's impressive he still managed a top 20 finish with a crash.

The 2023 BME overall winner, Nik Nestoroff also managed a top 20. It is interesting to see how champion enduro racers stack up to pure downhillers.

At the top of the pile the US's most promising up and comer, Ryan Pinkerton did some work ending up in 4th overall with regional locals Luca Shaw and Neko Mullaly also in the mix.

On top of his win at Rock Creek, we hope to see Dak make a good push for some podiums on the world stage this year and carry some of the momentum he left last season with.
