Wearing lingerie on the red carpet has quickly become Dakota Johnson's thing, and we're not mad about it. After stepping out in a sheer pink lace jumpsuit and a matching bra and underwear set at the digital screening for Gucci's Aria collection this spring, and later at the Venice Film Festival in a skimpy bra top underneath her blazer, the actress was it at it again — and this time, she took on the corset trend.

For the New York City premiere of her film The Lost Daughter on Wednesday, Johnson paired a black lace corset covered in Gucci's GG logo (she's an ambassador for the brand) with high-waisted leather pants. She accessorized the lingerie-inspired top with a diamond necklace, black stilettos, and a matching belt. Her dark hair was styled in loose waves that cascaded past her shoulders, and she sported her signature fringe.

A subtle smoky eye and a swipe of pink lipstick completed her va-va-voom look.

Aside from having her underwear pass off as outerwear on the red carpet, Johnson also wore lingerie while filming a movie cameo this summer. Back in August, the actress appeared in the trailer for Annie Clark (St. Vincent) and Carrie Brownstein's movie The Nowhere Inn, wearing nothing but a barely-there bra and panty set with sheer stockings and high heels.
