Dakota Johnson has followed the celeb tradition of a press tour outfit marathon in New York City over the past three days, appearing in five different ensembles styled by Kate Young. The Cha Cha Real Smooth actress kicked off the fashion spree on Monday with an all-black Patou look, featuring a blazer, pants, and top. She accessorized with Jimmy Choo shoes and Kate Young for Tura sunglasses.

She switched to white later that day, changing into a jaw-dropping Area blazer dress with a jewel rib cage and spine open back. She wore her brown hair up in a bun with the evening look, which she wore to the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her film.

Johnson spoke on The Today Show about her work producing and acting in Cha Cha Real Smooth—and why it means so much to her. “Yeah, I do feel the most proud [of this film],” she said. “I don't know, we also screened [it] at South by Southwest, and it was the first time I watched the movie in a movie theater with an audience, and it felt so different than just being an actress in a movie because I made the whole thing from the very beginning to the very end, and my blood, sweat, and tears are all over it. I just felt so proud.”

She also confirmed that she always wanted to go into show business like her actor parents. “I always wanted to be an actress. I was obsessed,” she said. “When they [parents Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson] were on set, I wanted to be on set. I just loved movies. And I was the kind of kid, I'd watch movies over and over again, like multiple times a day. Mary Poppins for sure [really shaped me as a kid] and then Home Alone was a big staple. The Wizard of Oz, but those I would watch them every day for a couple years and then move onto another one.”
