Dakota Johnson, the star of the upcoming film Madame Web, gave award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift a brand-new title to add to her collection during her charming Saturday Night Live monologue.
The actress began her hosting gig on the Jan. 27 episode of the comedy sketch show by taking a look back at the last time she hosted. It was not long after the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special episode in February 2015, which she also appeared in as a guest alongside many big names like Steven Spielberg, Lucy Liu, and, of course, Swift.
Looking at a picture of Johnson surrounded by them and other stars in the audience of the anniversary special, she joked, "Look who's sitting right behind me," with the photo zooming in to show Donald Trump sitting with his arms crossed.
"It's just crazy to be standing so close to someone who would become the most powerful person in America," she went on, but before people could connect the comment with Trump, the photo quickly moved to show Swift, leading the audience to enthusiastically cheer and laugh.
The monologue continued with a few cameos, as musical guest Justin Timberlake wandered on stage, shortly followed by Jimmy Fallon dressed up for a skit that appeared later in the show.
While Johnson has only spoken publicly about Swift a few times before, such as when Swift co-wrote the song "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," which she recorded with Zayn, for Johnson's movie Fifty Shades Darker, the two have been spotted having dinner and hanging out together in the past alongside fellow gal pals Karlie Kloss, Serena Williams and Zoë Kravitz.
Right now, Swift is the focus of a lot of attention due to both her very successful Eras Tour and her ongoing relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
