Back in June, it was reported that then-couple Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin called it quits. However, according to a recent sighting, the pair seem to be spending time together again.

Though it's unclear if their relationship is officially back on, fan accounts have been sharing selfies taken with Johnson and Martin. Is it possible they never even broke up in the first place?

Apparently, Martin and Johnson were seen hanging out at the wrap party for the forthcoming movie Covers. Johnson costars in the film, which is set in the Hollywood music scene, with Tracee Ellis Ross, Ice Cube, Bill Pullman, and June Diane Raphael.

When The Sun reported the breakup, a source close to the couple apparently revealed, "There was talk of engagement but now he says they have gone their separate ways, which has come as a real surprise to everyone." Though many thought Johnson and Martin's relationship would last, the split came after 18 months together. The Sun quoted a source saying, "Chris and Dakota were very easygoing and always seemed really happy together."

It's entirely possible the two never fully cut ties or that they might just be hanging out as friends post-breakup. For now, we'll just have to wait to find out.
