Ever since the debut of Prime Video’s Daisy Jones & The Six, we can’t help but outfit ourselves in flare jeans, maxi dresses, crochet crop tops, and daydream about a fringe bang. The fashion is our 1970s wardrobe dreams come true, and although Daisy Jones & The Six isn’t a real band (sigh), their chart-topping album Aurora is a perfect accompaniment to our retro, rock ‘n’ roll looks.

From “Look at Me Now (Honeycomb)” to “Regret Me,” the original music from the miniseries, based on the Taylor Jenkins Reid novel of the same name, is, IMHO, immaculate. The band is composed of lead singers Daisy Jones (Riley Keough) and Billy Dunne (Sam Claflin), guitarist Graham Dunne (Will Harrison), bassist Eddie Roundtree (Josh Whitehouse), keyboardist Karen Sirko (Suki Waterhouse), and drummer Warren Rojas (Sebastian Chacon). The series (and band) is loosely inspired by rock band Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours” era, and its influences makes us wish we were standing in a stadium, listening to Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne belt out heartbreaking melodies on-stage.

Due to the band being fictional, and actors Riley Keough and Sam Claflin being, well, actors and not rock stars, the prospect of Daisy Jones & The Six going on tour didn’t seem likely. Until…

At the South by Southwest film festival in March, series creator Scott Neustadter told Deadline that a Daisy Jones & The Six live performance could (!) happen. “If we can figure out a time in which everybody is together. I think they absolutely would love to do it,” he said. “Certainly some performances would be so fun… it’s gonna be hard to figure out the right time but I hope we find it because it would be great.”

Josh, Sam, and Sebastian agreed, according to Deadline. “We’re all actors and we all have different schedules. We’re all on different sides of the planet. I don’t know how plausible it is, but the hope is there [and] the desire is there,” Sam shared. “And there seems to be enough people that are asking for it to happen.”

“I think the band really does exist, and it’s us,” Sebastian previously shared with Deadline. “We played a considerable amount of time together. We really got to the point where we’re not only proficient and capable, but also very comfortable and we look like we’ve been playing together for a long time — because we have.”

OMG. While this all sounds promising, our hearts skipped a beat on March 30 when Josh took to TikTok to share an update on the band.

“Just arrived at a rehearsal studio to have a band practice with Daisy Jones & The Six,” he began. “But we already finished the TV show. So why would we be doing that?” EDDIE!

Hours later, Josh returned to TikTok to tease followers once again. In the seconds-long clip, the actor holds up his phone and pans across a recording studio, where Riley, Sam, Will, and Sebastian can be seen in the background, standing at mics and tuning up guitars. “Wait was this today or was this a year ago, I dunno…,” he captioned the video. Eddie, pls.

Is the band getting back together? We don’t have confirmation just yet, but we’ll be manifesting a Daisy Jones & The Six tour in the meantime (and more hints from Josh).
