Dad Uses Legos to Create Hilarious Scenes Every Parent Will Relate To

Meet Lego Dad who creates parenting scenes out of the popular children's building blocks.

A New Jersey dad has finally answered the question: Who has more fun with Legos: parents or kids? Parents, of course! The dad, who goes by Lego Dad on Facebook and Instagram, is becoming a social media celeb of sorts for his super-relatable scenes about parenting.

From how parents feel the first day versus the last day of school, to our obsession with coffee and wine, Lego Dad's creations are LOL awesome. The scenes feature a mom, dad, two kids, and a dog. In real life, he has two kids, ages 13 and 8 months, and his creations are clearly a reflection of his own experience.

In fact, as he told Parents.com, "I came up with the idea because I'm a parent, and obviously I have a lot of Legos so throw the two together and apparently you have internet GOLD!" He added, "There are a ton of parenting pages on the web, but as far as I could tell there wasn't any LEGO parenting pages."

Of course, since he's a parent, Lego Dad doesn't have much time to dedicate to his art. He shared with Metro that each piece takes him about two minutes to make. "The best ones usually take the least amount of time," he said.

It's easy to see why Lego Dad's insta-creations are going viral, since each scene is pretty much exactly life with kids. He told us about why so many people relate to the scenes, "I think people see what they are going through in minifigure form and they can't help but laugh and realize that EVERYONE is going though the same things with their kids and sometimes all we need as parents is the reassurance that we aren't alone."
