The internet was quite shocked at the beginning of May upon learning that Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child, a baby girl named Gia, at the age of 79.

Now, his friend and former co-star, Al Pacino, 83, announced that he has a new baby on the way, news that sparked a reaction from De Niro.

De Niro visited the Today show with his producing partner, Jane Rosenthal, and the conversation eventually turned to De Niro's new daughter with partner Tiffany Chen, 45, which is when the actor mentioned Pacino.

He said, "Listen, Al Pacino just had a baby, I was told yesterday morning. He’s a few years older than me. God bless him. Very happy for him."

It's reported that Pacino has not welcomed the baby yet, with news breaking that he and his girlfriend Noor Alfallah, 29, were expecting.

As for his own situation, De Niro said of having a new baby, "It feels great. It feels great," adding, "when you’re older, you have awareness of certain things in life, dynamics. Everything, family dynamics. You can’t avoid learning certain things and then how you can deal with those, manage them and this and that.”

De Niro also has kids Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith, and Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with ex-wife Grace Hightower.

Along with the baby on the way, Pacino has three other children: Julie Marie, 33, with ex-girlfriend Jan Tarrant, and twins Anton and Olivia, 22, with ex-girlfriend Beverly D'Angelo. He has never been married.
