Dad Helps Golden Retriever Overcome Her Fear of a Bridge in Heartwarming Video
We oftentimes think that our dogs are fearless as they aren't afraid of protecting us from the very "scary" delivery drivers and they want to inspect our food before we eat it. LOL! But more often than not, dogs are scaredy-cats.
Most of the time we see them getting scared by thunder, which we get because it's loud. Heck, we get scared too! But TikTok user @goldengirl_xena shared a recent clip of a Golden Retriever being nervous to cross a bridge. Luckily, this dog's dad is there to help her. Take a look!

Aww, we couldn't love this anymore! This dog trusts her dad so much that she overcame her fear of the bridge. It's no wonder this clip reached over 3.4 million views within the first few days of being posted - it's precious!
TikTokers are so proud of her for conquering her fears. As are we! "Omg, the run at the end. She's like, 'Dad, I'm doing it but we're going FAST,'" said @tl99219. HA! She didn't want to dillydally on the bridge. She was facing her fears but she was doing it very quickly! @laurasoccer9 added, "Aww, this video made me smile. Please give her lots of cuddles and treats." At least a dozen treats. It's what she deserves for being such a big girl!
Some common, yet weird, things dogs are scared of include going to the vet, a blow dryer, vacuums, rain, kids, men, stairs, and cars. Our dog is absolutely afraid of the blow dryer and being such a fluffy boy, it's almost impossible to get him dry after a bath. Luckily, there are ways to help them overcome their fears such as positive reinforcement training and counter-conditioning.
